When talking with my 23 year old daughter, I asked her what are you looking for in a partner? She went silent, so my response to her was, "breathing?" We narrowed it down to that. If you don't know what you are looking for, you may settle for the same.
You may know exactly what you are looking for, and with some services, equipment, there are ratings, posting, customer reviews and the good old sales pitch to go along with the RFP Process if you are so inclined. Some Providers in the Virtual Meeting Field have had experience, some just started with the boom (COVID). How will you the buyer determine the best fit.
In starting the VM&E Association, we found that there is a plethora of internet articles touting themselves as the number 1 provider. Often they even have some excellent education within the piece, but hardly without a slant towards t
heir capabilities and interests. We aim for the VM&E Association site to be an equal ground where the Providers can describe their services and eventually earn solid references and rankings from their customers on the site. We will vet such to insure they are valid in the process and reasonable in the response as well.
We welcome your feedback in this area from planner to partner member. Our goal is to be the best place to go for information, services, best practices and lessons not to repeat to help make us all be the best we can at our endeavors.
